Planning Your Shoot

Before your session, we’ll have a relaxed chat about your dog — their personality, energy levels, and anything they might need on the day. Nervous, reactive, senior and high-energy dogs are all very welcome. I can discuss options for dogs that need to be kept on the lead; as we might decide a secure field is a safer option. People are also welcome to join in on the shoot.

On The Shoot

Spend some time with me at the agreed location where we will explore the surroundings. If your dog likes the water (and weather permitting) we can also take photographs in the sea/lake. I'll take 100's of images; from action to portrait and everything in-between. I don't mind being stood on, sat on, jumped on and I definitely don't mind if dogs are a little naughty! Let them be themselves and let me do what I do best. We use a mixture of recall games, fetching toys and more to get the best action shots. Portrait shots can be taken on the lead if needed. Sessions usually last around 60–90 minutes, but there’s no stopwatch. We move at your dog’s pace.

After The Shoot

I'll spend the next few days editing each image individually until there are around 50 or so ready for your gallery. I’ll usually get images back to you within 10 days. Once uploaded you'll get an email with a PIN. This is used to download the entire album straight to your computer. All of the images are high resolution and un-watermarked. These are yours to print, share and show off as you wish. I do have product options, but there is no obligation to spend a penny more.

The Process

Tides and Tails

Consistently voted one of the best beaches in the UK (and I'd argue the World) Druridge Bay Beach is vast with glorious golden white sands, grassy green dunes and blue sea waters.

It's one of my most popular settings and is great for finding space to shoot and for getting a range of shots from action to portrait and for those that love a paddle...jumping in waves.

Investment  - £189 which includes...

60–90 minutes at Druridge Bay

One household (up to 3 dogs)

A mix of action and portrait images

Between The Trees

If sand and sea aren't your dogs thing then why not consider the park. Sometimes certain breeds photograph better in greenery and woodland so location is an important consideration.

The lakeside has large areas of field, woodland and also then the lake itself. Although due to wildlife getting in the lake isn't an option - it makes a wonderful backdrop. This is also a great option during autumn when the colours change.

Investment - £189 which includes...

60–90 minutes at Druridge Bay Country Park
